Our family at the IBC consists of caring mentors, coaches, trainers, educators, and program participants. We offer unique afterschool programs: Physical Fitness programs, the Learning Center, Vocational Center, free afterschool snacks/meals, and Gloves With Love service-learning.
Through these activities, we emphasize homework, open communication with school teachers and principals, and family involvement. We exist to serve both the bodies and minds of Toledo’s most at-risk youth.
The Institute for Building Careers knows that in those young bodies are teenagers dreaming to succeed. We help them succeed and we know our community can help us make it possible.
